Description
Networking is instrumental in developing new ideas for any movement or group. The carer's movement is no different, so this course describes several ways how carers can network with other carers. Carer, author, lecturer and poet Matthew McKenzie (FRSA) explores the importance of carer networks and how friends, families and carers can make use of those networks.
When you network with another carer, it is easy to understand the role. With a group of those familiar with the challenges carers face, ideas can be shared out between each network member.
The course will include tips and information on why networking is important, you can build up skills, use peer support as a way to relate to others, help hold to account and advocate for each other.
